Eradicating 'Hand of Gods'

It seems that 'Hand of God' type of goals are turning into an in-separable part of our beautiful game.You probably know some 'famous players' doing it,so I don't need to give any examples.
Recently Sydeny FC's Chris Payne netted a goal with his hands,termed as 'Hand of Payne',to add to the agony of Wellington Phoenix.

So,is this phenomena gonna be never-ending?Are there any ways to eradicate this??

Of course,we can avoid this.There is always a smarter way.

How about increasing the number of referees?

Hmm..sounds like a good idea.But,think about what will happen in the premiere league

Players will discover a new way of getting injured,and managers like Rafa Benitez will discover new excuses.

How about adding some new technology?
Like,fixing some heavy machineries in players hands,which will 'signal' the refs when the ball makes contact with the hands.

This idea must work!Oh wait.....

Go ask this question to a Man Utd fan,he will tell:

"Pfft..haha!is this even a question?huh?You think they gonna beat us in OT?haha.!We will thrash 'em 4-0! Glory,glory Man Utd!"

Ask the same question to a Liverpool die-hard,and he will tell:

"Gonna be an easy day for Milan!You know,we have beat Man U even without our main players!Milan will go through easily!"

Ask a Rossoneri supporter,he'll tell the truth.

Milan nearly committed a suicide in the first leg at home,after a lack-luster defensive display was torn apart by Rooney.Milan's offence was satisfactory,unlucky in other words,fought back with spirit,to atleast keep the hope alive.

So,yes,I'm a Milan fan,whats the 'truth':

Last time,in 2007,when both teams met in the European stage,the same scenario happened.Milan were down 3-2 in the first leg and......in the second leg kaka,the guy who belonged to Milan,virtually thrashed Man Utd,single handedly scoring a hat-trick.The history usually repeats itself,as they say.The same scenario has repeated.

Ronaldinho has officially replaced kaka,isn't it??
I've heard you.Of course,Ronaldinho has replaced the void officially.But,he isn't the guy he once was.Ronaldinho can't take the whole defense all by himself,like Kaka did.Ronaldinho is awesome;but he is only an assist-machine-that means someone has to finish his glorious passes.
Here starts the problem,exactly:
I may sound harsh,but its the truth- Hunter/Borriello definitely cannot handle those giant CB's in Man utd.Its virtually undebatable-its a fact.
With all due respect to Il Duck-Pato is too young to handle Patrice Evra.Another fact.Pato is very very talented youngster.We can't expect this kid to run riots in the Man Utd bossy defense.Remember he is only 20.
Inzaghi-stealthy,classy,experienced,charismatic striker-even at his ripe age of 36 he can handle the situation.But,very less chance of Pippo starting.
With this scenario in Milan,how could you expect the Rossoneri to fire 3+ goals?
And the problem is not over,yet!
Man Utd have Alex Ferguson,a completely no-nonsense,error free manager sitting on the bench.On the other hand,you have Leonardo,a debutant,inexperienced and to be honest,not a reliable gaffer.
Ferguson can just park the bus,and sit relaxed.And also,those referees in Man Utd will only be enemies for the Rossoneri shirts.

Atleast,they won't park a ship.

Come on,you don't even sound like a Milan supporter!
I've heard you,again.On paper,Milan's qualification is almost impossible.But that doesn't necessarily mean that Milan will fail!Because,football,has always proved to be an unpredictable game.

Who expected Liverpool,to turn the table around in the CL final's 2005?

Who expected that crazy result in last year's Chelsea vs Liverpool second leg?

Anything is possible.Man Utd are not that mighty we think of!After all,they just lost to a third tier team,this season.If Leeds can make it,why not Milan?

Like Adriano G says,Milan have the CL heritage in their blood. This were surprisingly 100% true words,from that joker,who likes to blabber s**t.Milan's focus,now and in the past,only was the mighty CL,not the local Scudetto.So,Milan won't leave it just like that;expect a hell of a spirit from the Red-Black shirts.

To qualify,Milan need to do a bit of magic,which is a relevant part of football.Leonardo is young,radical in is ways,and most importantly clear in his ideas.Surely can,expect some magical football from the Italian side.

Its hard,not impossible for the Rossoneri.End.

All I can promise is,we are definitely gonna see some glorious football.A reason to rejoice for the neutral football fans.Viva joga bonito!

Gunners jinxed?

That would be the question arised in most of our minds,after seeing Arsenal's 19 year old Aaron Ramsey's horrible injury.

Arsenal have already witnessed 2 leg breaks,Abou Diaby and Eduardo.Ramsey now makes it 3.
It was Ryan Shawcross of Stoke City,who accidentally,broke the leg of Ramsey.Both went for the loose ball,which resulted in the horrible incident.Shawcross broke into tears after seeing the 19 year old's leg literally broken.Shawcross honestly can't be blamed of this,he didn't really do it intentionally.

"There was absolutely no malice in the challenge. I would never, ever go out to hurt a fellow professional.

I am deeply upset that Aaron has suffered such a bad injury and my thoughts are with him.
"I would like to send him my best wishes too for a speedy recovery.

said the upset defender.He was also backed by his boss.

"Ryan Shawcross has no bad blood in him whatsoever.
The lad was heartbroken at what has happened, you could see as he came off the pitch that he was in tears and he feels devastated that Aaaron has been so badly injured."

said the Stoke City gaffer,showing his support for Shawcross.
Arsene Wenger was unhappy to see another one of his player horrendously tackled.But the French tactician was happy to see his team winning,coming back from a goal behind.

Million Dollar cry baby

Well,you know about whom I am gonna' talk about.
yes,its none other than the planet's most expensive player,Crystiano Ronaldo.
This man hasn't meant his ways yet,and continuing his selfish,cry babyish,blaggardish,not-so-clever,*insert every dumb activities here* deeds in Madrid.

So,what happened?
First story is a little old,pardon me.Still worth pointing and ridicule about:
Real Madrid were awarded a penalty after Ronaldo was brought down on the penalty box.(well..it was actually a dive from Ronaldo!never mind..).Ronaldo took the ball,placed it in the spot,and bang!Keeper saves and Karim Benzema scored the rebound.
Now whats the fuzz all about?
Ronaldo was actually supposed to celebrate,but,the expensive player was actually venting his anger for missing the penalty!
What an attitude,sire!

Now to the recent one:

"I'll take the penalty!"

"No!Me!"

"Hey!Its my turn!You have already scored!"

Wait,this isn't a conversation between two 10 year olds playing Football in the park!
Its between our Ronaldo and Xabi,fighting for the penalty!
well,here's the actual conversation:(actually doesn't differ from the conversation above!)

"Cris, give it to me,"
says Alonso.

After no response the Spanish international continues:
"because I haven't even scored one goal. Let me score one. Let me."

"The next one, I promise you,"
replies Ronaldo.

"No, stop. Give me this one. Come on, give me the ball,"
adds Alonso, before taking the ball and placing it on the spot as Ronaldo reluctantly turns away.

What's with Dunga and 'Dinho?

Not the unfamiliar topic.
"Ronaldinho is officially back to his best!The Seleção now needs him!"
So,say most of the fans of the beloved game.Except Dunga,oh well,the coach.

Dinho was snubbed by Dunga,quiet rightly,after his epic loss of form since moving to AC Milan.And since then,Brazil,under the new coach Dunga,has started playing a 'different' style of football,not the flashy Samba style we've seen and enjoyed for years.And yes,it has been successful till now and the Brazil,are arguably one of the favorites for the World Cup 2010.

Now to the topic:
Milan was actually expected to involve in the relegation battle (!) after the team lost their charismatic,prolonged leader,the legendary Paolo Maldini and their talisman cum star Kaka.Adding fuel to the fire,Carlo Ancelotti,chose Chelsea and flew to England.Then came into light,Leonardo,an inexperienced rookie coach.Milan's big man Adriano G being already a proven joker,the hope of the Rossoneri was suddenly shifted into Dinho's shoulders and he was supposed to do the 'Kaka role'
After a crappy start,Dinho exploded into life and is now 'officially' back to his Barca best,turning into an ruthless 'assist machine'.His pace is lost,but not his passion and vision.It was quiet obvious from Dinho's interviews that his rise in form was aimed to secure a berth for the South African trip.
Dunga already stated that Dinho will be called-up when he regains his form.That means he must have called up him for the seleção by now!

Now in an latest interview,when Dunga was questioned about this issue,the coach refused to speak and behaved like Mourinho.

"I guess it's normal, because the players who are absent are always the best and everyone wants to talk about who is not part of the national team.None of this is new on the eve of a World Cup. The questions and answers continue to be the same. The pressure on the coach of the Selecao is always very strong."

said the reluctant boss.Dunga also backed Kaka,who is the main-man in his 'not-so-flashy-anymore' Brazil.

Dunga wants Dinho to juggle the sun

What may be the reason?
Every coach have their own reasons- either acceptable or unacceptable for their deeds.
As I said,Brazil under Dunga is not really the good ol' Sambaish,flashy Seleção we used see.Dunga,plays a more packed and an integrated,more strategic football using kaka as the anchor.Actually,AC Milan playing under Leonardo with an 'ultra attacking' 4-3-3 plays more 'Brazil like' than the actual Brazil!
This may be the reason for Dunga to snub Dinho,who is a more flamboyant and an audacious figure.On the other hand Kaka,Dunga's main man,is a more professional and simple and less audacious;unlike Dinho.

So,Dinho deserves the spot,but the boss doesn't think so.Its evident that Dinho is very less likely to be included in the Seleção.But,we shall see.Who knows whats running in the joker's mind?

Viola and Gunners chocked to death by the Refs

Bad refereeing has always been a part of our Beautiful game.Its not really new reason for a Football fan to get disappointed;the history of pathetic refereeing rolls back to the very past.The history of the Football world have met with this phenomena for countless times and yes,its no surprise that it has been one of those important 'decisive factors'!

From the smallest league matches to the UCL final or a World Cup finals,we have witnessed a hell loads of the refereeing nightmares.

Coming to the subject now,this phenomena has now haunted the Viola and the Gunners in the knock-out stage of the UEFA CL and has left the beloved fans gutted.

Bayern Munich 2-1 Fiorentina

Fiorentina were 'robbed' from a draw with Miroslav klose's controversial last minute goal at Munich.Klose was clearly in an off-side position when he noded home Olic's rebound to equalize.Viola's off-side appeals were waved away by the official,well,as expected.

On-side says the ref,no surprise.

Later in an interview,klose has admitted that he was in an off-side position when he headed the goal home and he has no regrets. "My instinct told me that I was offside, but it was only when I saw the television pictures that I was sure of it" said the German center-forward.
So,here it goes-The Germans have the lead,that means the Viola have to work harder in the next leg of the tie.Nothing else.

Porto 2-1 Arsenal

Well,it will be a biased act if I say that the Gunners were 'robbed'.Arsenal played a silly and a school-boyish football,while the latter were atleast professional.But yes,the Gunners could have expected a draw,if the match was refereed by an atleast average ref.

Old Sol Campbell equailized for the Gunners after Varela gave the lead for Porto by some ridiculous goal-keeping from Fabianski.It was on 51th minute,Sol Campbell,gave a silly back-passed to Fabianski to pick up.

Yes,it was a foul..and ref did blew the whistle..but then happened the drama.Porto did the bread and butter of Football,ie,passing and finishing,even before the Gunners stop the argument with the ref.Controversial,that it is.The ref should have rejected the goal,of course.As expected,the ref,the self-imposed God,gave no ears to the Gunner's appeal and approved the goal.

So,Porto lead in the away match,to make things difficult for Arsenal.Easy as that.

Period.
